Vijay in Demand: Actor to Team up with Director Samuthirakani?
"Ilayathalapathy" Vijay seems to be the choice of every Kollywood director for their films these days.
Though the actor is currently focused on AR Murugadoss' upcoming film (tentatively titled as "Vijay 55"), there has been a lot of buzz about his new projects.
Earlier, there were reports that Ilayathalapathy will star in Chimbu Devan's film, which will be jointly produced by the actor's manager PT Selvakumar and Shibu of Thameens Films. An official announcement on the details of the film's cast and crew is still awaited.
Speculations are rife that the actor has been approached by quite a few directors, besides Chimbu Devan, to rope him in for their respective projects. Names of popular directors including Suseenthiran ("Pandiya Naadu"), Sasikumar ("Subramaniapuram") and Atlee ("Raja Rani") are being associated with Vijay's new projects.
The latest to join the list is director Samuthirakani, who tasted success with his recently released "Nimirnthu Nil". The director has reportedly been in talks with Vijay for a new film, though there has been no confirmation regarding this project yet.

Ajith-Vijay Fans Find A Way Out To Refer Their Stars' Films
Issues over movie names have become new headache for filmmakers. Especially, films featuring stars have been dragged into controversies. For some, it is a means of getting free publicity, but for others, it creates unnecessarily troubles that harm their films to some extent. While industry is yet to find a concrete solution, people on social media have probably found a temporary answer for title issues. Filmmakers Cautious To Reveal Names Filmmakers have become cautious when it comes to revealing names. There are many examples of big banner films landing in court over title issues in the last few years. Popular among them is none other than AR Murugadoss' Thuppakki. The Vijay starrer film went through hurdles when the makers of Kalla Thuppakki dragged the issue to the court claiming that AR Murugadoss could not use Thuppakki title as it affects Kalla Thuppakki's prospects at Box Office. Luckily, the court did not agree with it and rejected their plea. But if the same issue was raised during the release, there were strong chances of the movie's release getting postponed. This has made many top producers/directors not to disclose names of their films.
